About the Role

Remote Public Adjuster

A remote public adjuster is responsible for working with clients and insurance adjusters to negotiate fair settlements for residential and commercial properties that have suffered damage due to natural disasters or other causes. The remote public adjuster will work remotely, communicating with clients and team members via phone, email, and video conference.

The remote public adjuster will be responsible for:

- Assessing the extent of damage to properties and identifying the cause of the damage
- Communicating with clients and insurance adjusters to negotiate fair settlements
- Reviewing insurance policies and coverage to ensure that clients receive the full benefits to which they are entitled
- Preparing documents and reports detailing the damage and the recommended repairs
- Working with clients to develop plans for repair or replacement of damaged property
- Staying up to date on industry standards and best practices for property inspection and repair

The remote public adjuster should have a valid public adjuster's license in the state where the applicant is seeking employment. Strong communication skills and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are essential, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer programs. Experience with remote work is preferred, but not required.

    2. A valid public adjuster's license in the state where the applicant is seeking employment

    3. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and insurance adjusters

    4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

    5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer programs, including word processing, spreadsheet software, and email

    6. The ability to work independently and manage time effectively

    7. A reliable internet connection and a quiet, private workspace

    8. Experience with remote work is preferred, but not required

    9. A clean background check and the ability to pass a drug test

    10. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required, depending on the position.
