About the Role

Business Development Specialist

A business development specialist is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for a public adjusting firm. The business development specialist will work to develop and implement marketing strategies, establish relationships with potential clients and partners, and create proposals and presentations to win new business.

The business development specialist will be responsible for:

Identifying and researching potential business opportunities
Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new clients
Building relationships with potential clients and partners through networking and outreach

Requirements

Here is a list of requirements for a business development specialist seeking employment with our firm:

  1. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field

  2. At least 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing

  3. Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer programs, including word processing, spreadsheet software, and email

  5. Experience with creating and implementing marketing plans

  6. Strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships with potential clients and partners

  7. Ability to work independently and take initiative

  8. Experience in the insurance or public adjusting industry is preferred, but not required

  9. A clean background check and the ability to pass a drug test

  10. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required, depending on the position.
